(WATCH LIVE) New York, New Jersey and Connecticut have asked people travelling from states where Covid-19 cases are rising to go into self-isolation for 14 days. New Jersey's Phil Murphy said people in the three states had been 'through hell and back' and did not want 'another round' of virus infections. Some southern and western states have been reporting record numbers of cases. The University of Washington predicts 180,000 US deaths by October - or 146,000 if 95% of Americans wear masks.

The president of the United States is not a civilian,' White House spokesman Judd Deere said when asked about Trump’s compliance with the quarantine order given his travel Tuesday to Arizona, which has seen a rise in the rate of its COVID-19 cases.

Taking to Twitter and Instagram, Bratz just confirmed that two of the girls in their doll lineup, Nevra and Roxxi are queer, and from the looks of it, in a close relationship with each other.

(WATCH LIVE) After almost a century in the closet, Colorado resident Kenneth Felts came out to family and friends because self-isolation brought back memories of the love of his life - a man named Phillip. Felts said that he started writing his life story while isolated in his home due to the coronavirus pandemic. That’s when he started thinking about Phillip, the man he fell in love with back in the 1950s. Felts ultimately left Phillip in order to marry a woman and live his life in the closet. He had one daughter with his wife and they later divorced. 'Coming out in the 50s, 60s, and 70s was horrendous,' Felts said. 'That was part of the reason I didn’t ever consider coming out.' 'I guess I didn’t have the courage to face society at that time, so I just went ahead and buried it.' Mr Felts is now 90, proving it is never too late to come out of the closet

(WATCH LIVE) President Donald Trump's 200th judicial nominee was confirmed by the Republican-controlled Senate on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone in a presidency that has tilted the federal judiciary in a conservative direction for decades to come. With the confirmation of Judge Cory Wilson to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Trump has successfully appointed 53 appeals court judges, 143 district court judges, two US Court of International Trade judges and two Supreme Court justices - Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

Mayor Muriel Bowser announced on Tuesday that in honor of the 50th anniversary of LGBTQ Pride Month, the city’s Department of Transportation would install 'rainbow-colored bands' at the intersection of 17th and P Streets, N.W. near Dupont Circle. The mayor’s announcement said the installation would take place at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 25, weather permitting. John Falcicchio, the mayor’s chief of staff, said the rainbow-colored bands would consist of a 'permanent rainbow crosswalk installation' to be painted on the street.

(WATCH LIVE) A disgruntled Lyft passenger hurled a string of racist and homophobic slurs when asked to leave the driver’s car, and the entire ride and rant are captured on video. The driver, named Edgar, picks up a passenger named Richard. Things get off to a rocky start when Edgar asks Richard to wear a mask. Edgar explains that he makes the request because of recent government guidelines, but also because the matter is personal. Edgar revealed he has a family member sick with the illness. 'I’m sorry, blacks, but you already have a month,' Moore tweeted, probably referring to Black History Month, which is February. 'Juneteenth isn’t a thing,' he continued, referring to the June 19th holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the U.S. It has been celebrated since 1866, according to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. 'Don’t colonize our month as well. thanks. Signed, the gays,' Moore concluded.

Anti-LGBTQ activist Scott Lively discussed racism on his Breaking News Bible Study show with Knoxville, Tennessee pastor Richard May. During the show, May downplayed the horror of slavery in the U.S., calling it 'an unfortunate event.' He said the Bible backs that view and that 'It’s not something to lose your mind over.'

His message will be part of a virtual fundraising event for Trans Lifeline, Brave Space Alliance and the Ally Coalition, three LGBTQ organizations severely affected by COVID-19 and recent events highlighting the need for fair and equal treatment under the law for all.
